Post deux!

Okay, I’m breaking protocol today and will be posting TWICE today. Yup, twice! The reason is simply because I couldn’t decide what to post today and waiting for tomorrow just seemed way too far. I might also be posting these because I want to cover all the designers before the end of this week – but shhh!
Both of the posts are picture heavy and hopefully inspirational for all you brides-to-be!
HSY:

I can’t decide what I think of the middle outfit – it seems a bit much. On the other hand, the yellow chooridar totally stole my attention!
And now, it’s time to drool over the most stunning outfit by Adnan Pardesy! This was their first bridal show – although the collection was weak, I loved the below piece. It was unique, elaborate and simply exquisite.

Stay tuned for my second post in the afternoon!
I was going to post something else for Friday’s Feature but since a few of you told me you couldn’t wait to see pictures from Day 4, I thought I’d continue with the Bridal Week pictures. If I’m being honest, there’s noway I could wait to post these images after the weekend. Patience and me are not friends.
Day 4 featured one of my favouritest designers, Umar Sayeed.
Karma – Enchanted
This collection was an inspiration from dark fairy tales, their feared villainesses and beloved heroines. The colour palette was dark and the label played around with texture – using cloth such as velvet.
Asifa and Nabeel – Ottoman Royalty Collection
Inspired by sultans jewels, throne and armors made of diamonds, precious gems and stones. I’m really liking the colours of this collection.
Ali Xeeshan – Pahalgam
Pahalgam is the name of a Kashmiri City– the collection includes kashmiri kurtas, bridal shawls and lehengas. The city’s simplicity and beauty inspired Ali Xeeshan to create this collection.
Sara Rohale Asghar – Tehzeeb-e-Baymisaal
The objective of this collection is to display outfits that are suitable for a wide range of wedding ceremonies – mehendi, shaadi and valima. I really, really, really like some of the pieces!
Rouge
This collection, a contemporary fusion, is a tribute to Memoona Manan. It’s inspired by Memoona’s favourite colours with some pieces creating a vintage look.
Stay tuned for Day 4 images!
