Friday’s Feature: Izabella & Garin

If you follow me on Facebook, you might have predicted that Izabella & Garin’s stunning wedding would be featured today.

You have probably noticed that I have posted Z Molu Photography’s work numerous times. What can I say, I stalk him religiously and LOVE his work. Seriously, someone hire him to a wedding/party and invite me. Please. Anyway, this wedding has now tied with my all-time favourite wedding by Z Molu. That’s pretty special.

Izabella & Garin got married in Jamaica (this was almost our honeymoon destination by the way) and their pictures are simply beautiful. The couple looks relaxed, happy and so much in love. I love the contrast of softness and edgyness that Z Molu captured.

Friday’s Feature: My Mayoun Photographer – Qurrat Ansari

Since my mayoun is females only, I needed a female photographer for the event. I was furiously hoping to book someone before I went on my trip – finding a good female photographer at a reasonable price turned out to be harder than I thought! My mayoun is a small event, so I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on it… this made my search difficult.

And then… I found her! … On a blog!

One of the blogs that I routinely stalk, Aaina Bridal, featured Qurrat Ansari Photography. I had a look at her work and knew I must contact her asap. Qurrat responded to my email inquiries right away (we all know how annoyingly late vendor responses can be!) and we decided to meet for coffee. Result? Success!

Qurrat was everything I was looking for in my mayoun photographer: takes good pictures, is extremely sweet and accommodating, super relate-able, and willing to work with my budget! She’s young and very talented – the future is looking bright

I decided to add a new element to the blog – Friday’s Features!! Every Friday, I’ll feature either a vendor or a wedding – eye candy for you to look at over the weekend. Oooo and check out my signature – drop me a comment and let me know what you think (you can be honest)

Today’s feature is another great photographer – G+H Photography. Based in Toronto, Garima Singh is the lead photographer and owner of G+H Photography. I love the attention to detail she captures along with the vibrant colours that burst out of her pictures. Her pictures don’t look heavily edited, which I find is the issue with MANY photographers these days.

I have absolutely wonderful things about her aswell as her work from people that I know who were/are her clients. If you’re planning your wedding, check her out!
